The atmosphere and presentation feels like a Japanese restaurant should. I had the chirashi which was more food than I could eat and it was delicious. It had tuna, salmon, octopus, eel, white fish and seaweed salad on top. The staff were friendly and this seems like the sort of sushi place that would be perfect to frequent because they will sometimes give out free extras to regulars.

The service and atmosphere here are fantastic, the Owner is so nice and I absolutely recommend it! I usually go for sushi and sashimi during lunch, and I can’t get enough of the sushi and sashimi box at dinner it's amazing! Seriously, everything I've tried is delicious. If sushi isn’t your thing, definitely give the hibachi to try it’s just as awesome! Enjoy!

This has easily become our go to once a week for dinner. Super friendly staff, clean, great location. The Lady working the counter is always so friendly and happy. Food portions were fantastic and delicious

I always like to enjoy myself with food, so we always get plenty of appetizers and rolls to try! The owners are always so sweet and make me feel so welcomed to bring my young children in. The fish is fresh and everything I get is always so flavorful and perfectly balanced. I drive about 30 minutes to eat here and it’s always worth it! I believe it is a great price for the quality you receive! Sakana will always have my business when I am in the mood for sushi!

Best sushi in the Smithfield/Carrollton area. They have a great crunchy spicy tuna, a huge variety of specialty rolls. My daughter is obsessed with the mango passion roll. The service is beyond kind, you feel like family when you step through that door. The gyoza and avocado salad are also great starters!

We had a group of 7. The staff are so warm and friendly. The food is super fresh and presented beautifully. I went with the vegetarian Bento box. Perfect. They even brought out a delicious dessert with big candle for our 18 year old grandson's birthday. It was also delicious. Thanks for the excellent experience!

I have been coming here since they opened. It is the best sushi restaurant by far in the 757 area code. I love all the different variety of sushi, sashimi, and rolls that are available. The quality of the fish is superb. I have eaten at various sushi restaurants in the 757 and this is the best. I drive 30 minutes one way to dine here. There are several sushi restaurants closer but not nearly as good. Also the staff is friendly and wants to make sure you enjoy everything you ordered. I love sitting at the sushi bar and watching them prepare the variety of delicious delectables.
